New ‘SEIKO KODOMONOKUNI’ eyewear will go on sale from late March 2012

Seiko Optical Products Co., Ltd. (President; Takashi Wakuyama, Head Office: Chuo Ward, Tokyo) will launch new eyewear in the ‘SEIKO KODOMONOKUNI’ brand in opticians in the Japanese market from March 2012. This is the brand that is popular for its frames aimed at infants to elementary school students.

‘SEIKO KODOMOKUNI’ was created from a desire to “as much as possible make it fun to choose glasses” for children who need to wear eyewear and on this occasion we are stylishly updating this brand.

The seven new models that we will release at this time are strong and maintain superior safety while at the same time featuring fashionable designs that will appeal to children, for example they have smart shapes with improved thinness and colorful prints.

In addition, these models achieve even better comfort when wearing them with their corn pads of 100% vegetable raw materials set at an angle that easily fits the noses of children along with temples that have had curves applied to them to match the faces of children.

‘SEIKO KODOMONOKUNI’ is a collection of frames in which both design and functionality coexist. These frames have a stylish design that meets the fashion needs of children and are combined with a strong structure which can withstand intense use as well as superior comfort when wearing them.
