Lenses that provide care while changing color for ultraviolet rays and glare Seiko’s new photochromic lenses “SOLAIRE” to go on sale

Seiko Optical Products Co., Ltd. (President: Nobuo Tanaka / Head Office: Chuo Ward, Tokyo) will launch and start accepting orders in the Japanese market for Seiko’s new photochromic lenses “SOLAIRE” for those with myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism (Single vision) from July 3 (Thursday), 2014 and Seiko individual lenses (Progressive lenses) from September 2014. “Solaire” are new photochromic lenses that can easily be recommended as an optional coat sensation. There are the products available in a wide range of colors – in addition to the familiar gray and brown, these are available in three other beautiful colors. We are looking to expand into the photochromic lens market by strengthening our product lineup and expanding our promotional tools with our new “SOLAIRE” lenses and our existing “Transitions” lenses as “Seiko All Light Lenses.” Please be sure to look forward to “Seiko All Light Lenses” in the future.
